oh come on guys ! this is a serious song you just never experienced what the guy went through in his life. he's trying to thank the lord. because after all of what he went through the lord is still there with him. and I know that I've been with this situation and I'm now trying to overcome this past pains of my life. I still thank the lord because of all the things that I know that he knows what I did. he's still there always and I know that I can still go back in him despite of losing my way. I know I know that he's still waiting being in the dark . is boring I know that I we have the right to feel the bright side of life after all we are all of his creations. and he made this world not to scourge us but to let us know that he's testing us....all of this pain well be just a piece of cake if we only know how to forgive and love.how to go back in the presence of heavenly father.----Paul----

I completely agree with GuitarAnalyzer. This song is so amazing and it speaks completely of God's love for us. Back when I had myspace and did upkeep on it I had this song as my profile song. So many christians and non christian alike loved this song. God is so amazing that he would forgive us for anything we do. That he would become flesh and die for us even though we dont deserve it one bit. I love how he says

I thought about this song for a while and couldn't understand what he meant by "You make oceans from the rain".. But i came to a conclusion in my mind ^^ .. 2 me Rain means two things.. Sometimes it means life, or life giving aspects, other times it symbolizes pain, or being miserable or really down, maybe even depression. I feel in this song it means both. Sometimes we mess up, and the rain comes, and we get 'down' and sometimes dont understand.. But that's what God uses to break us down only to build us up again, giving us life from our pain.. And God's end product? Beautiful, tranquil, calm oceans.. :)
