this song is so pure and beautiful. a real piece of art. i think it's about how her mother cared so much about her and raised her well and when she will have a baby she will do the same as her mother did for her, until her daughter will be big enough to go away and live a life of her own. and all of this is compared with the upbringing of birds. how the mother bird learns the baby bird to sing etc. And when a bird is big enough it will fly away from the nest.
