Running Down Lyrics

I can't leave the house
I can't get out... of bed
I can't stop the tears
From running down my face... again

I can't move an inch
I can't feel my legs... and feet
I can't feel the rain
Running down my face... again

I can't stop the pain
I can't make the fever break
I can't taste the sweat
Running down my face... again

Can you make it go away?

I can't even scream
I can't even let it out
I can't see the blood
Running down my face... again

Can you make it go away?

Make it go away

Cover art for Running Down lyrics by Michelle Featherstone

I think this song is simply about something really horrible happening. And not just simple horrible, but like unbelievably, burning-a-hole-in-your-stomach kind of horrible, with searing emotional pain that's just so bad, you can't even feel it. It could be about a really bad heartbreak, and when she says "can you make it go away?" she could be talking to the person that broke her heart. And all of this could have happened more than once, because she is constantly saying "again."

It's a pretty emotional and deep song. Sadly, I can relate to it.
