The archers come to the edge of ferns
The wind it floats so cold with words
You're in and out of sleep tonight
It led you to the shed to hide

Breathing in the dark
They're finding where you are

If you are, then you know the phone's tapped
The last of the maps are breaking codes
You've seen the night thieves
Like sharpened knife bleeds through

The moon shows that you're in reverse

'This song is about a dream I had. I was standing in a forest, the trees were blowing from a strong wind. I felt a little eerie, like I wasn't alone. As I traveled through the woods, I came to a shed that had a single flickering yellow light on the outside. I went nervously into the shed to find it completely empty except for a single photograph on the ground. I picked it up to look and I saw that it was a picture taken from above me just a few minutes prior when I was standing in the windy forest. The terrifying sight though was that in the shrubs and ferns around me were hundreds of archers dressed in gold armor poised with arrows drawn back. I couldn't see them when I was out there, only when I saw the picture taken from above. And one archer in particular had a golden arrow just a few inches from my head. I knew they were out there and they knew where I was. Luckily the shed was dark and I could hide and wait breathing in nervous anxiety for the coming of the golden archers.' - Falling Up

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
