How I Could Kill A Man Lyrics

Go get your ribbon box
Go get your wounded heart
Seeing spiders, I'm told they never lie.

Go get your brother love
Go get your losing head
Seeing fire, I'm told it never burns.

I want it all, I pull you back. I want it all.

Cry baby, cry baby, cry. Soaking down your face.
Cry baby, cry baby, and you can't understand how I could just kill a man.

No to your letters love
No to unsturdy hands
Sleeping eyes, I'm told they never lie.

No to your key of rust
No to your raging words
Sleeping tires, I'm told they never drive.

(prechorus and chorus repeats)

If I wanted to stay, you won't stand in my way
But I'm choosing to leave with your heart on my sleeve
It feels too good without you

(chorus outro)

i'm surprised no one has commented this song. she's an amazing singer & people should listen to her more.

Haven't a clue as to what it's about - but I love it. Charlotte is amazing.

I seriously spent two minutes trying to figure out what this song meant. so finally i gave up and came to the conclusion that it's about this girl who is unhappy with her life and is in a relationship that she hates, so she kills her partner. Lame conclusion, but all I can think of. The music video doesn't help much to understand, but it's okay.

Great song, anyhow. Love it, cause it's pretty!

this song is about her really really bad breakup. i read an interview about it all. just go to her wikipedia page and you can find the reference at the bottom.

Very catchy song, I haven't heard it on the radio at all yet! As others have pointed out, it's about a breakup. (I don't think it's about her killing her partner though! I don't take the title literally.)

Only 5 comments?! This song is great. I think Charlotte's creativity is amazing.

Just like Pinkbutterfly said, I do believe this was a breakup...but not those "oh we're over...bye" type of breakups. I think she made his life miserable....like she did something to make him remember her forever, or something like that....

its a sad song. but its beautiful. i get chills whenever i hear it. i like her style, and its kind of a strong, independent song. makes you think, its complicated but thats what makes it good. i love it!

I know it might be about a bad breakup or something, but maybe she got the better half-

"If I wanted to stay, you won't stand in my way But I'm choosing to leave with your heart on my sleeve It feels too good without you"

..she wants to leave?
