I'll Believe You When Lyrics

I've tried so many times
To tell you how I feel
But you're far too disbelieving
Are you tryin to get even with me
Maybe once or twice
I wasn't fair I wasn't nice
But now I've got myself together
When I promise to be better
Believe You say

(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) When everything you say don't turn out wrong

(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) When everything you say don't turn out wrong

I could call you everyday
Give presents by the score
And I could send you pretty flowers
Have them waiting at your door

I could write up in the sky
Forgive me I apologize
Still if I went through every measure
With my promise To Be Better
You'd say

(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) When everything you say don't turn out wrong

(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) When everything you say don't turn out wrong

There's nothing you can say
I'll That I haven't tried
Nothing I can do will ever change your mind
Yeah, Maybe I'd do better
If I told somebody else

(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) When everything you say don't turn out wrong

(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) When everything you say don't turn out wrong

(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) I'll believe you when when everything you tell isn't wrong

(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) I'll believe you when
(Whoa) I'll believe you when when everything you say don't turn out wrong

Yeah. I'm the first one. First of all is a different sound, kinda country but i like it.

I think is pretty simple, is about a guy trying to convince a girl that he's change and he wants to do everything he didn´t do before, but now she´s having a hard time believing it.

Every time I listen to this, all I can think is: "This sounds familiar..."

This song could be facetious in some parts, but regardless there are some people who try their hardest to guilt the other party, and it seems like nothing you can do will satisfy them because actually you've done nothing wrong. This song gives me that vibe in a big way.

its kinda self-explanatory.

a guy is in a relationship with a woman, and they've been off and on over the years. know he's finally ready to declare his true love to her and make a commitment but she doesn't believe him and won't accept him back.

At the concert before this song Rob Thomas said "this song is about compromise & marriage & anyone who is married will understand". That's all I got...

I like the opening with what sounds like bells. .

My Opinion

The man has done things in his life that has dissapointed his spouse/girlfriend. Because sometimes things arent perfect, the girl starts thinking that everything he does will be a lie and turn out bad, so she now stops believing everything she says.
