I absolutely love this song Jamie wrote it for his mum when she was in a car accident and for about 4 hours he didn't even know if she was alive or not I saw them live last night and he sang it with such emotion and passion, it was amazing
I interpreted the song as a message to someone who was slipping into death, the singer begging the dying person to 'wake' from death. It's sung so beautifully. So controlled yet so desperate and frantic at the high notes.
