Bleed, Everyone's Doing It Lyrics

Hello, is this thing on?
Are you listening to me?
I need roughly a million people to help
Assemble a brilliant rebel army

Take all division from religion
And just throw it out
Whatever you believe
You're welcome here
Let me tell you what it's all about

Bleed, everybody bleeds, the same as you and me
Pour and mix our lives together and flow into the streets

Are you still with me?
Am I making myself clear?
Don't get distracted by the puppet show of politicians
They put one on every single year

Take all excuses your fear produces
Line 'em up in a row.
We're gonna execute them and then salute them
Let our courage grow.

Bleed, everybody bleeds, the same as you and me
Pour and mix our lives together and flow into the streets

At the end of the day, we all share the same consequence
Nobody is immune to death or the taste of our own ignorance
All across the globe, it's deafening (everybody knows)
All existance, clear your throat and sing (everybody knows)

Bleed, everybody bleeds, the same as you and me
Pour and mix our lives together

Bleed, everybody bleeds, the same as you and me
Pour and mix our lives together and flow into the streets

(Hey)
Everybody bleed (hey)
Everybody bleed (hey)
Everybody bleed (hey)
Everybody bleed

Everybody bleed

Nick's written a socially conscious song haha. Sometimes we just need a reminder that we are no better than everyone else & we don't have to buy into what the government says. It's amazing what could happen if we did all join as one. Great song.

i disagree, look at everything nick has ever written. This song doesnt follow suit with any of them. The strongest message in this song is that humankind is still human, but even this song weakly conveys that. I'm not really impressed with this album with the exception of Hush Hush. But even that sounds like to Live Without It.

So what if it doesn't follow the same, "emo," lovey-dovey label as most of his other songs? Can't a man have diversity? Can't he progress? Can't he mature? Cut him a break. I absolutely love this song. And I agree with sx_edge in a way. It's a reminder that everyone is, or rather, should be, equal to everyone else. No one is better than anyone. No matter what the government or religion or society thinks. And it is by far a weak song. I really don't understand where that came from.
