it's like she's the virus; contagious, aching and invading his thoughts and dreams...and the fever is the constant thinking about her and nagging memories. and he knows it'll be over when he just moves on..and the fever breaks. which makes it okay.

Love the lyrics, and the way they are sung...but the music is going to have to grow on me...
Your past will haunt you until you do something or come to enough of a realization to dissipate the bad memories.
I think this song is about a golddigger so to speak, she takes everything from him with her charm and good looks, but then he figures it out, breaks up with her, and but can't get her out of his head.

I think this is the worst song on the album. It's too 'quick and simple' for dashboard's style (and for my liking)
one of my faves from the album... sounds cool! unique! it's understandable.. from the title itself, it's all about FEVER DREAMS!
I bet the people who originally thought the song was too simplistic enjoy it now. It's simple, but catchy. FEVER DREAMS.
in my opinion, the song isn't really about love. but i can tell you for sure that the fever is a metaphor, but of what i can't tell you.
