I don't know why I like this song.. Perhaps when I listen to it I like to put me as the girl and an ex as the guy and that makes me feel better. Haha. Mature, I know.
But seriously the meaning of this song is pretty straightforward. This girl left this guy, and the guy was stone-hearted about it at first, but realizes how much he needs her, or how much she meant to him, and he can't keep his cold composure.
haha yeah i also pretend that i'm the girl and my ex is the guy. i seriously feel like this song was written for me. the guy tried to be strong, but he couldn't act like that forever, so now he wants her back. wow, story of my life.
I lovelovelove how Gary kinda chuckles before he sings "..you took a punch." One of their best in my opinion.
