this song is one of my favorites of his. i agree with everything he says except with the dogs are better than cats, but if thats the only thing i argue with, then its a super song! :)

Kaki; are you seriously just on here to belittle an artist's musical direction? ALL of your comments, excluding one, have been on an Eric Church song that you disagree with. This isn't a place to talk about your views of the world, which are actually humorous, but to discuss the content and message of the music. Your attempts to make Church appear as being ignorantly far-right winged are pointless. Sure, you don't agree with some of his opinions, but it the same light how does that make it fair of you to tell others how to think?

Since the very beginning of civilization the region known as the fertile crescent has been one of the most fought over regions in the world. In the beginning the fight was between the Semitics and the Palestine people, then came the Hebrews and the Romans, after that came the Jews and the Arabs, following that came the crusades, for centuries during the crusades the Islamic Arabs fought the Christian Europeans. The Crusades left a permanent distrust and enmity lingering in the generational memory of christians, jews, and muslims. Today the conflicts that are ongoing result from the hatred that has built up over millenia. so no the US did not start any of the problems in the current Middle East...
