Into The Sky Lyrics
The pushers
The shakers
The feelers
The fakers
The loudness
The silence
The sweetness
The violence
My wings will pull me
Up into the sky
Step right up and listen close
If you take that road you'll never know
There are many signs and many turns
When you give up into all you've learned
The feelings that I have
They haunt me till I'm mad
The heroes
The villains
The daring decisions
My wings will pull me
Up into the sky
The shakers
The feelers
The fakers
The loudness
The silence
The sweetness
The violence
My wings will pull me
Up into the sky
If you take that road you'll never know
There are many signs and many turns
When you give up into all you've learned
They haunt me till I'm mad
The heroes
The villains
The daring decisions
My wings will pull me
Up into the sky

this is like my favorite song
Well, also dig this song! I kind of see this message behind it that despite all the darkness on earth, you have a capability to rise above it even if you still live there or not, and create your own world. The wings may be figurative, not literal. But despite the drug pushers, the fake people, the violent people, the people without boundaries, there's also good around, There are many paths you can take in life to get to the position you are in now, also maybe a sort of heaven as well.
I tend to think this song is about the false, toxic duality in our lives. And an attempt to break free from it.
The pushers, i.e. those who are 'pushing' things onto us - the routine existence, the daily grind, political control agenda... The ruthless reign of those in power.
The shakers are those who seem like they're 'fighting the system' or doing something for 'the greater good', i.e. fake, controlled opposition, revolutionaries, non-conformists, religious saviors and ideological promisers of all sorts - who in reality play the same double game as 'the pushers', seemingly rocking the boat but actually deceiving us, leading us all into the same trap again and again...
The feelers are the naive, impressionable people who believe the lies, especially on TV, taking all the drama too seriously for their own good.
The fakers - the cynics behind the curtain and in the crowd, those who are getting increasingly bitter with their lives and eventually losing all respect for human life. The media circus, advertisers, those who like to play dirty and mess around with our emotions. They may be fed up with all the fakery, but they play the game nonetheless, deceiving others and themselves till the end.
The loudness - the meaningless noise and informational overload of our existence. The silence - as a consequence - is the lack of any honest voice or outcry in the masses, the 'silent majority'.
The sweetness - the 'positive thinking', playing nice, being a people pleaser. Pretending everything's fine and putting on a happy face when things are actually falling apart.
The violence - self-explanatory. The sudden brutality, the terror hitting us in plain sight, in broad daylight. Death, suffering and destruction, which the world is so full of.
The heroes, the villains - various (sometimes even imaginary) personalities we're supposed to look up to or hate with a passion. All to manipulate, divide and conquer us over some trivial, concocted dispute.
Step right up and listen close... - a call to wake up and become aware of your own life and the illusionary world surrounding you.
There are many signs - same as the above, it's a call to pay attention to the signs and symbols around you, they often tell you that something's very wrong.
Give up into all you've learned - a lot of the things you've been told and believed in are lies, hence there's a lot to re-learn from scratch, abandoning your current prejudice about the world you live in.
The feelings that I have, they haunt me till I'm mad - the difficulty of facing the truth, the struggle to remain sane after all the revelations.
The daring decisions - the radical changes that we must undergo in order to become empowered once again, the courage needed to make the first step to change your life.
And lastly, 'My wings will pull me up into the sky' is the self-reassurance that we can transcend our treacherous reality and find the true meaning of our lives, despite all the trickery and the externally/internally imposed polarity of views in a society involved in perpetual conflict and dissatisfying contradictions.
