Actually she wrote this song about her friendship with Tom Petty (and it was the time she was touring with him and Dylan). But when she asked Bruce Hornsby to sing it together with her, he added his own lines and made it more of a love song. If I were Nicks I wouldn't agree for that but netherless it's still a friendship song.
