From what Chris told me, this song is about his friend, plus other people close to the band who have died... its a Eulogy to Chris's friend plus anyone else who has died close to them
To me, it really hits me about my friend who died, so it can mean that to anyone about anyone.

This song is really really good, albeit a bit sad. However, if I try and not focus on the words, it's a great song to bounce to.

see, i look at this as more uplifting. yeah the subject matter is sad, but the "You Will Never Be Forgotten, etc." seems like a reassuring message, imo.
althought it is a sad song, The flatliners are a great band and I just think that they wanted to write a song about their lost friends. it's a very good song to me!
