I know you've got choices to make
I hope you make them well
It only takes a click of the wrist
I hope you live to tell
We cannot build upon over what you are without..
And you,
You amaze us all,
With the hope that you bring,
It could save us all,
From the war.
I know we've got changes to make
I hope we'll see this through
It only takes a slip of the fist
It ends with me and you
We cannot build upon over what you are without the sin
To cross the five stone
And you,
You amaze us all,
With the hope that you bring,
It could save us all,
From the war.
It all ends with you
You,
You amaze us all,
With the hope that you bring,
It could save us all,
From the war.
And you,
You amaze us all,
With the hope that you bring,
It could save us all,
From the war.
I hope you make them well
It only takes a click of the wrist
I hope you live to tell
You amaze us all,
With the hope that you bring,
It could save us all,
From the war.
I hope we'll see this through
It only takes a slip of the fist
It ends with me and you
To cross the five stone
You amaze us all,
With the hope that you bring,
It could save us all,
From the war.
You amaze us all,
With the hope that you bring,
It could save us all,
From the war.
You amaze us all,
With the hope that you bring,
It could save us all,
From the war.

I thought it was "we call the one who is without sin to cast the first stone" which is from the bible. That bible story was about judging not lest ye be judged, and I think this song is about changing ourselves and learning to forgive in order to "save us all from the war".
i think this is about a "savior"figure and how they bring hope to everyone that they'll sort out all the crap that's going on in the world.
He's talking of someone who has all the power (kinda like the president) forcing hope upon the people in the country. He's sarcastically saying that "it could save us all, from the war" and its saying "it all ends with me and you" because the end of this country will be a result of the government.
it's not sarcastic. and again.. SillyHatMan is right :P it's about Shinji Ikari, i believe. if you havn't seen it, watch Neon Genesis Evangelion. it'll give you a better understanding of the lyrics seeing as charlie is so influenced by it - ..and it's kickass.
cmon. there Christians basically its saying:
"and you amaze us all with the hope that you bring.." Talking about God. God amazes us with the hope and love He shows through His mercy and grace.
"it could save us all from the war." The spiritual war. The everlasting fight between good and evil. God and Satan. What its saying is that the hope Jesus brings might be good enough to end the spiritual warfare and win it for God
359847 is absolutely correct. About a third, maybe even half of Fightstar's songs seem to either be based on, inspired by, connected to or contain a reference to Evangelion. At least by my reconning.
I think this is definitely inspired by the Bible. It's saying Jesus is the one who can save us from the spiritual warfare between good and evil. The Shinji Ikari explanation might make sense, but I don't know anything about that.
