i'm not really sure about this song really means anything to me actually, if i get any associations to anything i wouldn't have the guts to talk about it anyway. But this song just has something really strange to it, spinechilling and eerie. Really great work like the rest of the current 93
I've had a thoughtover for quite a while now... meaninf i've brainstormed!. This song reminds me of when my father died... emptiness, meaningless excistence, how you feel misplaced!. It struck as lightning... the way you just feel so out of place in general that the half of it would be enough... it has got nothing to do with the rest of the cd with the way i interpret it. But it reminds me of getting into the hospital, waiting for around 40 minutes to actually get notified that he died, and then the great voids where it seems as if you are 40 miles away while reality stands next to you... the greatest challenge in life ever, loosing something you loved the most.
maybe it would also be based on the fact of the way the notes run, because no matter what you will feel depressed and hit if you ask me. It just hits the most touchy of you, the part you had too much love to let go of
