when chromeo was explaining this song, they said it was the oedipus complex, but then they also said it just has to do with how "every girl grows up to marry her ownfather" and "every boy grows up to marry his own mother" you know like the saying. but not literally. but the oedipus complex would be literal and creepy... so i don't know but it's a sweet song to jam to
