Cities And Buses Lyrics

We used to run through city run houses
We used to drink from half full glasses
We used to ride through the city on buses
We used to fight the underground rushes

We used to run through city run houses
We used to drink from half full glasses
We used to fall from drunken down laughter
We used to fall 'till nothing else mattered

So please
come back to me
so I can be
happy again
So please
come back to me
so I can be
happy again

Cause we could be out there running
Out 'till the buses stop coming
We could be out there running
We could be out there running

You and me out there running
Out 'till the buses stop coming
You and me out there running
Out there running

Pretty straightforward nostalgia. Lovely song I think.

You think? Of course it's lovely. I also envision two people making their way hand-in-hand as they navigate a large, faceless city. They feel as though they are together alone in the world...drowning out the city noise and the faces of strangers. Just a GREAT song.
