this song is clearly about a guy who's in love with a girl who's depressed, to say the least. the lines- "I wish I could help her see she means the world to me But the world, it doesn't mean much to her." that did it for me. actually, basically the whole song gives off that this guy loves a girl more than she loves herself, and wants her to live more than she does.

"Breathe again- This song was written about a good friend of mine who was going through some problems. She had a lot of secrets and a lot more was always hurting her than she would let on. It's the kind of situation where everyone can see it but no one really has the courage to say anything. And she had this logic that was kind of like if you have love than nothing else matters. None of the other problems are really problems. And I thought that was a pretty interesting outlook on life and I wrote this song because of that and sort of as my way to talk to her also."
