Bloody Nose Lyrics

Tell me a lie, tell me a story.
Tell me anything, don't you worry.
Tell me about the booze and the Bowery,
And all about the drugs in the morning.

I've seen your face before,
Though I didn't recognize
'Til you walked out the door.
And I've seen that face before,
Now I'll always wonder why,
Don't know me anymore.

We'll take the car down the highways,
We won't get fooled by the bad days.
And all the money we took from the last one,
Clean your bloody nose in the bathroom.

I've seen your face before,
Though I didn't recognize
'Til you walked out the door.
And I've seen that face before,
Now I'll always wonder why,
Don't know me anymore.

I've seen your face before,
Though I didn't recognize
'Til you walked out the door.
And I've seen that face before,
Now I'll always wonder why,
Don't know me anymore.

Great is the song. I think it's talking about 2 persons that met, one is injured the other want to help him.

Actually I think this song is about two people. They glance at each other, the recognized who one another is while they are leaving. I'm guessing they were friends, (I think this because it's happened to me before) best friends who got in a fight for some reason, moved on, and completely forgot about each other. But in that split moment the singer reminisced on everything. I guess the best memory was taking a car perhaps stolen, haha, getting in a fight and taking someone's money. You know how kids are. Kinda reminds me of like...The Outsiders, the greaser. But all grown up, seeing a friend. And wondering what the hell ever happened.

I first heard this song through the FIDLAR cover. When listening to the FIDLAR cover my first impression was bloody nose was referencing someone who get's a bloody nose from snorting too much cocaine. I just thought he was speaking of a woman and when he states "i've seen your face before, though i didn't recognize", that he was just so used to seeing her on drugs/faking her personality, that when she left she might've a revealed a bit more what she was really like, and in turn he "didn't recognize" her.

When I first heard it I got the vibe he was talking to himself. I can totally see it being about him and a girl who he had a falling out with though, either way I think the who isn't the real beauty of the song. It's the anthem of how people change not only from drugs but just life (breakups, being broke, ect.) I could be wrong.
