i think it means some one feeling to sorry for them selves and grieving over something to the point of their own death.
I listen to this song whenever i'm sad and it really helps. It's like he's telling a person he wants, do you really want to do this? Is it really worth it, all the things you'll miss out on? it's like hes talking directly to you, I love Jamies Elsewhere!
i think this song is about suicide. the songs is sung, i think, from the point of view of a friend who has kind of given up on the person but at the same time, they're kind of taunting the person asking if this is what they really want, etc.
so really, they're wishing they could save them, but know they can't. i guess it could be about drug addiction or love also stepping over the edge, falling. i dunno what else to say really
I think I agree with "greeley_reaper" I guess it's about a person who was left broken hearted and doesn't want to live life to the fullest. Still struggling to admit everything that has happened. She doesn't get out there and she'll regret it sometime soon and no one can save her from it. Jamies Elsewhere is amazing<3
