I think it's pretty obvious what the meaning is, basically it's if you meet a girl and you really like her, so much in fact that you want to be more than just her friend, even though you already have a girlfriend. It's that horrible urge of wanting to be in a relationship with someone even when you are already in one.

Great song, by the way, really Irishy. lol
