What I Can Give You Lyrics
Imagine again
I lean a little closer just to breathe you in.
Your words are in bloom
They wake me with the meanings and the thoughts of you.
I can't give you
Treasures that only men have made.
But what I can give you
No one can ever take away.
Twisting the day
I always lose myself so I can find your way.
The promises be
They whisper all the yearnings that I swear you need.
I can't give you
Treasures that only men have made.
But what I can give you
No one can ever take away.
I've got a long way, a long way to come down.
I've got a long way, a long way to come down.
I can't give you
Treasures that only men have made,
But what I can give you
No one can ever take away.
I can't give you
Treasures that only men have made,
But what I can give you
No one can ever take away.

This is an excellent song. Has a very catchy melody, and the guitar/pianos are beautiful. This song is basically about someone talking to their significant other, and preaching how, while they are not rich, they do not possess many material goods, what they can give is something far more important and pertinent to their love than any "treasures that only men have made". Absolutely wonderful.
this is a religious song, listen again , it even says in the bible, about "...storing up treasures in heaven." I'm not a Christian nut ,but have an ear for religious music. listen to " bearing witness", and "storm". there's quite a few of there songs if you think about it , the singer never mentions a her or girl, put God into the spot and listen again.
