Bodhi Sappy Weekend Lyrics

with the pressure kids
and the masterfade
your take a temperature
well please dont scratch me out

with our clothes on fire
i guess we both can wait
i built an ark for sure
please dont scratch me out

and the life lines
live below the waist
it's a capturer
please dont scratch me out

you can force a fight
you can fake a rape
but don't look first
please dont scratch me out

and all the men arrive
and the women leave
this blood isn't yours
please dont scratch me out

this is new life
that we celebrate
inside your mouth.
please dont scratch me out

The second half can be viewed as extremely sexual. Intended or not. The last stanza could very well refer to new life (sperm/semen) that we celebrate inside your mouth - to me, is kinda obviously, giving head and swallowing. It seems to fit his style. Either way, I absolutely love this song. Love it!

The Buddha became enlightened under the Bodhi tree.

The song is, I think, about accepting the futility of life and the inevitability of death, and loving in spite of it. 'Please don't scratch me out' is a plea not to God (or any other omnipresent or supernatural force) but, merely, to his lover.
