I'm fairly confident its lyrical one liners not letters
omifckingod. I LOVE THIS SONG! we the kings is my favorite band! i really want to meet them! ahh. but anyway. I'm pretty sure that this means that he doesn't want to pretend to be something that he isnt. and that he wants people to know. but thats just my guess. OMG AHH!
i think it means that he's not going to be like the fucked up hollywood stars. just like the song Slow Down by The Academy Is... and this other one that i forgot.... well anyway, their album is amazing work, i love every single one of their songs, well except for This is Our Town. it just doesn't sound like We the Kings' work.
I think its about a guy who screwed up with a girl, and now he's trying to tell her it will be different if she takes him back. Or it could mean what these previous people said... WHO KNOWS!?
if you listen to the version off of Between the Ink and Paper (the original version), it is almost a completely different song. The lyrics are so different.
