A Little Bit More Lyrics
You flipped the sign in your window
But, baby, are you really closed?
I got nowhere else to run to
I sure as hell ain’t running home
We could crash back at your apartment
I’ll sleep on the floor
Give me just a little bit more
Can’t you give me just a little bit more?
I never knew what I was missing
Frankly, I was better off
You let me drink from your cup
And now I don’t know how to stop
I’ve been pounding and pleading at your window
Sadly ignored
I want it just a little bit more
I want it just a little bit more
You love me then you lock your doors
I thought we were painting a bigger picture
Now I know the score
I want it just a little bit more
I want it just a little bit more
You finally had me thinking I was special
But you’re a liar and a whore
It makes me want you just a little bit more
I want you just a little bit more
Baby, don’t you make me go home
Don’t you make me go home
But, baby, are you really closed?
I got nowhere else to run to
I sure as hell ain’t running home
We could crash back at your apartment
I’ll sleep on the floor
Give me just a little bit more
Can’t you give me just a little bit more?
Frankly, I was better off
You let me drink from your cup
And now I don’t know how to stop
I’ve been pounding and pleading at your window
Sadly ignored
I want it just a little bit more
I want it just a little bit more
You love me then you lock your doors
Now I know the score
I want it just a little bit more
I want it just a little bit more
You finally had me thinking I was special
But you’re a liar and a whore
It makes me want you just a little bit more
I want you just a little bit more
Baby, don’t you make me go home

well it looks like he's no longer on the picket fence, and it seems like he liked it better when things were ambiguous
this is my favorite song on the album. and ya i agree, it seems like he liked it better when things were ambiguous, but i can relate. i mean, if i know that things aren't going to end up good, then i'd rather have it just be unsettled, so that i don't have to deal with the bad ending. i explained that really badly, but whatever haha i love tim and this song
"don't you make me go home" I LOVE THIS LINE esp the way Tim sings it....ahhhh
we1- I agree with what you said completely.
let uss-you extrapolate very accurately....when we don't hear what we want to hear, we harken back and wish for those moments when it was clouded and ambiguous.
