I loooove this song!!! I love all of his songs for that matter

he is an amazing artist, I like this one because it portrays the confusion of what to do when love strikes. "And I know I tend to rush straight in, I just don't know where to begin, When everyone is you."

Where it says: (in the second verse) 'All I gotta do is just sit back and wait' It's achully 'All I gotta do is just hold back and wait'

Anyway, how interperate it...

I kinda agree with 'reality of love', its kind of a situation im in at the moment, you want to say all the right things and tell this one person how much you love them and how much they mean to you. It tell the story of a guy in love.

But in a way have to much to say and cant get it out, and after you say all this you think, "wow that probably overwhelmed her a bit".

The chorus could describe how over the moon he is. It's hard to explain it, but as i said its how I feel at the moment, you just... zone out, into a world where everythings perfect, and everyone you see just puts a smile on your face, and reminds you of this one person.

The last three lines are him saying how he knows he swamps this person with telling them how he love them, but it how he feels and can't help it, when this person make him SO happy.

BUT

The verses suggest to me that hes told this girl (or whoever) he loves them, but shes done this, "I donno" thing, and hes saying that she wants her time, where he wants her. But, its hard to understand, as shes so perfect to him, so it must be hard for him.

Its an amazing song, and that 'one song you cant get out of your head' song for me.

this song is THE perfect explanation of whats going through a guy's mind.. us fellas are notorious for always seeming to "rush straight in", but not every guy wants to rush in for the same things..

Faulkner says, "everywhere i look, everything is looking so good", this shows the euphoria of being on cloud nine with a new girl, but not just "new", its more than that. "everyone is you" shows that whether it be seeing a couple in public, hearing a song, seeing someone that looks like your new love interest, or just ANYthing that reminds you of that special ONE.

every time i hear this i get the same message,

when an artist sings about LOVE and YOU, dont assume its about their romances! i think he is talking about LOVE in general, the love we have for each other! and you, means YOU! take it literally, he is talking to YOU! not some beautiful girl you instantly conjure up, YOU are the beautiful girl! or boy!

this is how i feel every day when im sitting on the bus looking around at everyone! they're all so beautiful! so much love everywhere! everyone is a beautiful person somehow or other and this song is about seeing the beauty in everything and everyone!

he is delighted, because he has recently reached a point of enlightenment and has found the true beauty in life, which can only come from loving the ugly! and there is an ancient theory(its true) that the way you view your life is a reflection of yourself. if you get grossed out by ugliness, it is because you are ugly and need to accept it before you can appreciate true beauty!

& newton is very happy because the more he genuinely loves everything, the more everything genuinely loves him :)
