Walls Fall Down Lyrics
When the walls fall down
On your old town
And you began
See I had these walls
Built up so strong
Built when I was young
In wars I've won
But if I'm alone
Stone upon stone
So tall I could not see
Beyond my wall
But our walls fall down
And our walls fall down
And when walls come down
On your old town
You began
A bit unassured
A bit insecure
I climbed up
And saw the world I lacked
And my fist stone cracked
Foundations collapsed
Standing on the ground
In stone I found
That our walls fall down
And our walls fall down
And when walls come down
On your old town
You began
Governor of the land
From where you stand
Beneath a shelter built by many hands
There is a stone
And you've locked the door
On people you once were
You came for war
And your walls fall down
Walls fall down
Walls fall down
Like a stone falls down
And I'm no stone
Just a stone
Says he's a stone
(Walls fall down)
No man's a stone!
On your old town
And you began
Built up so strong
Built when I was young
In wars I've won
Stone upon stone
So tall I could not see
Beyond my wall
And our walls fall down
And when walls come down
On your old town
You began
A bit insecure
I climbed up
And saw the world I lacked
And my fist stone cracked
Foundations collapsed
Standing on the ground
In stone I found
And our walls fall down
And when walls come down
On your old town
You began
From where you stand
Beneath a shelter built by many hands
There is a stone
And you've locked the door
On people you once were
You came for war
Walls fall down
Walls fall down
Like a stone falls down
And I'm no stone
Just a stone
Says he's a stone
(Walls fall down)
No man's a stone!

I'm not sure that these lyrics are completely correct, especially near the end....but I tried. Give me some feedback.
When the walls fall down On your old town, Then you began
See I had these walls, Built up so strong Built when I was young In wars I won, Fortified alone, Stone upon stone So tall I could not see Beyond my wall
But all walls fall down, And all walls fall down And when walls come down On your hometown, Then You begin
A bit insecure, A bit unassured I climbed up And saw the world I lacked And my fist stone cracked, Foundations collapsed Standing on the ground In stone I'd found
But all walls fall down, And all walls fall down And when walls come down On your hometown, Then You begin
Governor of the land, From where you stand Beneath a shelter built by many hands There is a storm, And you've locked the door On people you once were You gave a war
And your walls fall down Walls fall down Walls fall down Like a stone comes down And I'm no stone, I'm just no stone Says he's a stone (Walls fall down) No man's a stone!
I thought it said, "She's so stoned, and I'm so stoned..." Haha.
I am not sure entirely what this song means, but I'm kind of guessing it's about a person with insecurities.
I think it's about a person, who had a 'wall' built up, not allowing people to see inside their emotions, their feelings. They were a person who acted tough, but never showed how they truly felt, sad, embarassed, depressed, happy etc.
And finally, that wall of emotions fell down, and he no longer had that emotional barrior, and he could feel again, or allow other people to see who they truly were.
Sorry if I'm not making sense, it made more sense in my head, but when I try to tell people about it or type it, it comes out confusing.
Add anything to my perspective if you want.
easily about developing a world view. the perception you have of the world while growing up behind the walls of your home town give way to a new more open world view.
Great song.
And yes the lyrics at the bottom are correct.
