Still I remember hearts that beat yeah, yeah
I remember you and me,yeah, oh yeah
Tangled in hotel sheets
You wore me out
You wore me out

I remember honey lips and words so true
I remember nonstop earthquake dreams of you
You're coming on fast like good dreams do
All night long

Still can feel you kiss me love
Still can see your brown skin shine, shine
Still can feel you kiss me love
Come on and drive me wild (me wild)

And you move like water, yeah
And you broke like waves
I've never been deeper, so far gone
Your sister in the next room with the television on

Still can feel you kiss me love
Still can see your brown skin shine, shine
Still can feel you kiss me love
Come on and drive me wild (me wild)

Come on and drive me wild
Come on and drive me wild

I remember hearts that beat,yeah
I remember you and me
Tangled in hotel sheets (for hours)

Still can feel you kiss me love
Still can see your brown skin shine, shine
Still can feel you kiss me love
Come on and drive me wild (me wild)

Still can feel you kiss me love
Still can see your eyes like diamonds, diamonds
Memories are strong enough
To come on and drive me wild
Come on and drive me wild

I saw him live, and this wwas a really powerful song. and its about having sex in a hotel room in Miami. Thats all there is to it. whether there together anymroe or not dose not matter, it was an amazing memory. My favorite part is 'your sister in the next room with the television on' becuase its kinda like youre hooking up with some one and they family is close by, and they could totally walk in, but they have an idea of whats going on so they give you the privacy you never had to ask for. I also love the 'brown skin shine' becasue it reminds me of being tan after a day at the beaqh and how your tan glows as it gets darker at night

i love!!!!!! this song , the lyrics are so deep , intimate and natural. well i think it's about some knda of a forbidden relationship where the two people must be racially different since he talks about brown skin and not bronzed.

Its about remembering someone you're no longer with. But not in a depressing way. You remember all the great times and you smile to yourself.

I don't think this is about forbidden love at all. I think mentioning the sister in the next room perhaps hints that this was a young romance where the girl still lived with her parents.

He's remembering her fondly and in a happier way, as osumarko said. But there is still a melancholy tone to it.

I feel like this song is about remembering an old lover, and remembering the good times at that. I'm not sure whether this leans more to genuinely missing the person, or simply remembering and being thankful for the good times.

What an amazing song. The bridge where he just goes into falsetto is great - it feels like he's saying so much without saying any real words. That's the strongest part of the song, I think. There are some really well-written lines otherwise. I think this song is just about making love and it being perfect.

this song is great.... young romance...little rebellious...but definitely you can tell he's a little sad about all of it....i mean hell....happy "past" memories that cant be anymore are usually pretty bittersweet to think about, whether the relationship ended terrible or very friendly....still sad too look back on happy times that can not be recreated.

This song is my favorite song from the new album "some mad hope" - i only got the CD last week and i love it!

The line "i remember nonstop earthquake dreams of you" is one of the most amazing lines i have ever heard, i think this line can relate to the most amazing relationship one finds themselves in...when u think about someone so much that you dream of them and u remember the dream long after you wake up!

Ministry
Both as a standalone and as part of the DSOTS album, you can take this lyric as read. As a matter of public record, Jourgensen's drug intake was legendary even in the 1980s. By the late 90s, in his own words, he was grappling with massive addiction issues and had lost almost everything: friends, spouse, money and had nearly died more than once. "Dark Side of the Spoon" is a both funny & sad title for an album made by a musical genius who was losing the plot; and this song is a message to his fans & friends saying he knows it. It's painful to listen to so I'm glad the "Keith Richards of industrial metals" wised up and cleaned up. Well done sir.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
