Well to me it is talking about God, because:

Just because in order for it to be about a relationship, it would have to be one with somebody who has known you for a very long time in order to actually be involved in the stuff you did in your past, and actually have to forgive you for them.

And I can't think of anybody than can show how to never have a doubt, I don't think that is humanly possible, maybe never have a doubt about certain things but not about everything, I mean no human can make you have no doubt in everything you do.

And breathing for the first time to me means starting to see what is real.

It could be about a human relationship but I think it is about a relationship with God, who knows maybe they were cunning and deliberately made it so it could be both.

I see it as being able to be about both a relationship with God and human relationships. I have a good friend who supported me in my dreams, even when people who were closer to me didn't. The dream is to go through ROTC and become an officer in the Army. My family didn't think it was a good choice, but I feel like that is what I'm supposed to do with my life. She helped me to understand that I need to "stand for what is real" and follow my dream. Without her support, I would most likely not joined ROTC and always wondered "What if..." for the rest of my life. But now I've joined ROTC and know it is where I'm suppose to be.

to me,this song means that he found someone who accepted who he really was,even if he cant let go of his past. "even though it wont erase the foolish thing that i've done" meant that he did something to that person who made him who he was now and he wants to do anything for that person,but now he sees that it was that person.. "it was you"

along time ago i lost myself all i did was stupid stuff and i just lost who i was until this guy..came into my life and taught me life wasnt all about pain and he helped me find myself.

        I was sick of all the pain Tired of all the shame that I felt

I was about to leave this stupid world because the pain was just too much for me i couldn't handle it.

         But you showed me a way To never have a doubt And always to believe in myself

He taught me that. One day everything will get easier and that i just have to believe in myself to get stronger. And he helped with the pain helped me find other ways then doing the stupid things i did.

Sometimes..i yell at him and i just go crazy because sometimes my past comes back at me and it haunts me and because of before he told me he would always help me..i took that as 'take it out on me' and i hate that i do that...

                             But u love me anyway

Speaks for itself..he loves me no matter what i do or how much i hurt him.

I wanna do everything in my power that i can for him. Like making him happy all the time.

I know i cant take away all the things that ive done that have hurted him but i still wanna be with him.
