A Safer You, Is A Safer Me Lyrics
Lying around
The answering machine had blinked more than I could count
The operator won't disclose she knows his whereabouts
I put money on it baby
Sweated it out
Sweated it out
Does it take two hands to count your mistakes?
You know your breath is heavy and I take it away
Take it away
I am hound with the taste of your blood fresh in my mouth
Keep my mouth shut
Your quick to chase now your walking away
You made your bed now it looks like a grave
Your quick to catch me now your walking away
Well I make sure you don't want opened
When you walked out on me
When you walked out on me
Go to the tape wait
I think she wants to take a chance
A challenge of whether
It could be his voice or just a noise
I gave away your stuff girl
I've seen the heart of things
Like a face wrapped in blood
And out of control
Does it take two hands to count your mistakes?
You know your breath is heavy and I take it away
Take it away
I am a hound with the taste of your blood fresh in my mouth
Your quick to chase but now your walking away
You make your bed now it looks like a grave
Your quick to catch me now your walking away
Well I make sure you don't want opened
When you walked out on me
When you walked out on me
Like a siren
My hearts says
A distressing note ringing through the streets
The best thing I can
Keep my mouth shut
Out of sight, out of mind
Keep my mouth shut
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Keep my mouth shut
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh ,oh
Keep my mouth shut
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
A distressing note ringing through the streets
And the sirens ring
A distressing note ringing through the streets
The answering machine had blinked more than I could count
The operator won't disclose she knows his whereabouts
I put money on it baby
Sweated it out
Sweated it out
You know your breath is heavy and I take it away
Take it away
You made your bed now it looks like a grave
Your quick to catch me now your walking away
When you walked out on me
When you walked out on me
I think she wants to take a chance

Like a face wrapped in blood
And out of control

i did this all by ear, im pretty sure most of it is correct, if not lemme knw
I got this Lying around the answering machine had blinked more times than I could count, the operator wont disclose she knows his whereabouts, I put money on girl, he was sweating it out
and then for the 2nd part I got take a chance and challenge his word. I unno though >.> just what I hear :)
i swear its 'A distressing note ring through the streets
not sure though...
alright i think the lyrics are pretty much 100% correct if im wrong, lemme knw. ty.
it sounds like in the beginning he says "whats a ring machine have blades for" instead of "answering machine had blinked more"...listen to it.
I'm positive that I'm wrong, but it definitely sounds like what he says.
it does kinda sound like "whats a ring machine have blades for" but it wouldnt fit in the sentence then. but it does sound like it.
According to the lyrics booklet, it's "While you were out, the answering machine had blinked more than I could count."
And "But I'd put money on it girl that you were sweating it out." Then "You're quick to catch but now you're walking away."
And "Wait, I think she wants to take a chance and challenge the play / Could it be his voice or just a noise that gave away your stud?" And last "A distress signal ringing through the streets."
Sorry, that was long. =)
