Your Love Is Strong Lyrics
"i look out the window, the birds are composing not a note is out of tune or out of place i walk to the meadow and stare at the flowers better dressed than any girl on her wedding day."
my favorite part. the times i feel God's love the most are when i experience those kinds of simply beautiful things. every part of this song is perfect, but those words are what popped out the first time i heard them. jon is such a brilliant writer. although it's no surprise considering he gets a lot of it straight from the bible. (:
i think that stanza is from Matt 6:25-34...further down after the Lord's prayer

i dont know if this is wrong, but when i hear "Would you sell yourself to buy the one you've found?" i think its asking "will you give up yourself to get Jesus?"
Yes! Whoever would come after me must deny himself take up his cross and follow me!

Matthew 13:44-The Parable of the Hidden Treasure "The Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field."

Wow such an amazing song..love his interpretation of the Lord's prayer. The melodies are beautiful!
I think its pretty obvious what this song's about.. anyway.. I love how he sings the last part, I admire Jon so much, i think he's a VERY GOOD song writer, I love all of his music, but I prefer the SF songs.
Awesome song inspired directly from the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6.
This song totally sweeps me away to another place!
Jon Foreman is an amazing songwriter!
jon foreman has a way with words...
this is such a special song.
Love this song. His adaptations of Bible passages are breathtaking. This is music as it was meant to be written.
I especially love this because so many Christians get desensitized to the Lord's Prayer - it becomes routine. This song is a reminder that it is anything but routine.
the first time I listened to this song, i fell in love with it.
