oh my god this song is so beautiful. it really does put me to sleep-in a good way!
to me it's about not knowing how the other person feels, or at least not knowing how they think they feel - even if you think they feel a certain way. and maybe even being let down by the fact that they just can't seem to identify with their feelings and just be honest with themselves..

i love this song with a cracked heart because i relate to this song just a little too much [if that even made any since to you]. to me, its about caring for someone who isnt all there in it. like if you fell for your best friend... and it never kinda got to him or lasted as long as yours did or does. he is always the friend and your feelings are shining on him like the moonlight but you dont know whats going on when youre asleep untill after you wake up. in other words... you are always giving hints of your feelings for him, but it goes unnoticed (sorry, my spelling sucks.. or well, i think i spelled it wrong anyways.. lol) or its not given in a way he feels he needs and what not... then you kinda dont know what you feel but you know its something and you both know it.
I'm seeing it similarly to barrigirl. I think it's about loving your best friend, and having the feeling they might feel the same way. Only I see this coming from the best friend's perspective. Like her (I use her, b/c I'm one of the minority male fans of Eisley) way of saying "I love you too."
