this is my favorite song on the album already.

haunting is the perfect word i think.
it has a dark tinge with the drums and the heavy guitar coming in. it makes me think...of a seance for some reason. when all their voices come together when they sing "forever and ever" its so hollow and powerful.
eisley are so beautiful and mysterious. definitely a fave.

replace the words "life & live" with love. & it all makes sense. as if loving is living. its saying to stop being jaded and wounded, so that you can love, fully love & give your full selves to each other. =]

i agree with you lauraxexs, especially since the first verse mentioned past loves letting them down. and i think that "having life figured out" also refers to being in love and just knowing that you're going to spend the rest of your life with them, hence the "forever and ever".
It reminds me of The Book of Jane.
Of course, I finished it minutes ago, so it could be clouding my judgement.
But a lot of the songs from combinations seem to be about new love and letting go of old things.
It's about being scared to love someone again, but wanting to do it again too. They both have to break their walls they built to protect themselves because their past loves have let them down.
