To me its simple. He wants to find a way to not seem like he's overwhelming this girl with how he feels about her, but at the same time he needs to let her know before he sells himself short. Everything else in the song is just life of a relationship that has all types of emotion in it. It's genius.
"'cause I Like you, maybe I'm just Like You" When I first heard this song on episode 10 of We Need Girlfriends (freaking awesome series on the old youtu') I knew I needed to get a hold of it. "cause I just like you, maybe I just like you." So simple, so true. I like this girl and she likes me and we both know how to make things so complicated. But when it comes down to it maybe I just like her, maybe I just like her. Brilliant.

This song is so adorable! It makes me cryyy hahaha. Maybe it's just that great or it's just me!! lol but yeah, I heard on this one guy's myspace called "fingers crossed photography" i think and I knew right away I liked it. Cute melody and lyrics great work :D
Oh and I would like to add, I've heard this song from some commerical I think it was a Sprint commercial or a car commercial either one!!
