Got me feeling stuck got me feeling out my way
I just wanna
My way I just wanna
My oh my
I knew right from the start it was too good to be true
But you fell into my arms like the rain that hits the stoop
Reminiscing on those days I used to scoop you in the coup
Miss all the time we spent together without you I'm blue
Yeah I'm blue
I don't know what to do
I sit here all confused
Looking at these photos cause it's all I have of you
I do this on the us
I do this on the usual
I only f**k girls if they beautiful
B***h why you got me stressing
The way that you been acting ill have someone take my seconds
I just want to show you love overflow you with these blessing
Yet you act like its a problem cus my key ain't for a Lexus
I'll still drive to your crib like what's up?
Miss me with that bull s**t I be calling all your bluffs
I'll give you the world but no i'll never be enough
Even after all this s**t you got me feeling stuck
Got me feeling stuck got me feeling out my way b***h
Pulled you out the mud I could of brought you in the spaceship
It's funny how this love could really turn right into hatred
Funny how you wanna be right back up on my waist b***h
But I don't give a
I knew right from the start it was too good to be true
But you fell into my arms like the rain that hits the stoop
Reminiscing on those days I used to scoop you in the coup
Miss all the time we spent together without you I'm blue
Yeah I'm blue
I don't know what to do
I sit here all confused
Looking at these photos cause it's all I have of you
I do this on the us
I do this on the usual
I only f**k girls if they beautiful
Yeah shorty on my mind but I gotta keep it moving
Cus i'm stuck in my old ways yeah i'm stuck in my emotions
Drunk up off your love got me sipping off your potion
Bring it back to the crib and you know we bust it open
Bust it open
Playing with my heart from the start s**t was hopeless
Cus when i'm on the road thats the only time you notice
And I don't really give a f**k 'bout you and all your hoes b***h
Cus I just been ballin' on em' like my name is DeRozan
Aye
Hold up
Know we know we sip Bacardi tonight
Yea
And she getting crazy off ice
Its funny I ain't really gotta stay here tonight
No
I ain't tryna stay here tonight but regardless
Ima' hit that b***h back
I knew right from the start it was too good to be true
But you fell into my arms like the rain that hits the stoop
Reminiscing on those days I used to scoop you in the coup
Miss all the time we spent together without you I'm blue
Yeah I'm blue
I don't know what to do
I sit here all confused
Looking at these photos cause it's all I have of you
I do this on the us
I do this on the usual
I only f**k girls if they beautiful

Boy oh boy do I know what he means. Obviously a song about losing the love of his life and his inability to recover and move on. This song was my anthem for a long time.

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.
