Not All Who Wander Are Lost Lyrics

Only the gods know they're looking right through you
Straight into the eyes of a dead man
There isn't enough hours in the day
What will be seen
When your world comes crashing down
Staring in the eyes of a gone man
No more fuckin' time left on your side, on your side

All of your hopes and dreams - don't mean shit!
All that's left is, now to nowhere
I believe do anything at all costs
You must believe
Not All Who Wander Are Lost!

Tied to the tree of woe, so woe to you
In front of the man with the dead eyes
With a choir of faith there's still hell to pay
Not enough hours in the day
Hell of pentence to be paid
So who's left to wonder?
In the wake of destruction, get made

All of your hopes and dreams - never meant shit!
All that's left is, now to nowhere!
I believe, do anything at all costs
You must believe
Not All Who Wander Are Lost!
FUCK!

Something, somewhere, injects the eye
Texas! Nights! Defines the sky!

This song looks at life through the eyes of someone determined to live in the moment.

"A lot of people get overwhelmed with life & what they're going to do 20 years from now, & often they're the ones who are going to die early from heart attack & stress. I'm one of the people who look at things on a daily basis & don't get swept up in what's yet to come." -- Dez Fafara

yeah this song is saying, quite bluntly, 'not everyone who tries things and moves from idea to idea is a failure.'

like many of DD's songs the song is saying live life for now, cus at the end of the day and the end of your life, all the shit you planned and all the shit you thought will come to nothing, only what you did, who remembers you, and how you lived will stand as your mark.

quite the positive song for a metal band, it's kinda nice to see it once in a while
