I wish I could better explain what this song could mean. But in some ways, it's appropriately oblique. Graham's lyrics are abstract and strange. Maybe it has something to do with a relationship fall-out? The theme to me is "if you didn't do all of this" -- something this person did has changed their relationship forever. And this song feels like the quiet contemplation of such. He's resigned to a "light mixed into night"
