Again, Again, and Again Lyrics
Give me just a second.
I'll find something to say.
Had I just a minute I'd have made the great escape.
What could he do?
What could he do whe she said
"I want you? What'll it take for you to surrender? I gave you a taste. Oh how you've grown. This great trial, this self denial...It's a trial to leave you clean cuz I like it dark and low, You know."
Rare blind recognition rushed in with a breath.
Turn to salutation.
Slyly, she said "haven't we met?"
Let our history repeat itself one too many times for, every time we return to our scene, it seems less like a crime.
What could I do?
What could I do when she said, "I want you"

First. The "I want I want you" is probably one of the sexiest things on this album. The rest is flawless as I expected so I think either this or Snuff On Digital or Cities Of Night are among my favorites. These are great. PLUR OXH
i think that whole.. "I want you," was the most cheapest shit I've ever heard in a song.
^That was a little mean but I didn't care for that part either, I thought it kinda took away from the song a little. This one is probably my least favorite on the album, which is not too bad because I am in love with the album.
this song is still rad, "I want you" or not.
The "I want you" line reminds me of the song "Two of Hearts" by Stacey Q, in her lyric "I need you."
i didnt care for the 'i want you' but i just love blaqk audio and its still a very good song
The whole album has a sexual feel.
The "i want you" is my favourite part.
Yeah, I agree the whole album has a sexual feeling to it (maybe thats why it's called cexcells?)
um i think its about a prostitute with aids. he shouldve made the great escape from her but he keeps coming back (she says sarcastically, 'havnt we met?') 'this self denial' shes in denial of her aids 'trial to leave you clean cause i like it dark and low' she likes working on the streets and stuff so its hard to stay 'clean' (without disease) 'let our history repeat itsself one too many times' he shouldnt keep going back to her but he does, and each time, it doesnt seem like such a crime
well thats what i first thought when listening to it and nobody else has posted a 'meaning' yet :P
Prostitute is interesting but.... I think this is sang in the point of view of every famous male celeb (actor, singer, athlete, mma fighter) that knows its wrong but keeps sleeping with his slut groupies when he has a loving wife/gf at home.
I think that is the best comment - It is about sleepy with a groupie and the more he does it the less guilt he feels...it is so clear I cannot believe no one else saw it. I think people try to read too much into these songs. The line about liking it dark and low, is stating that she will do things that his wife/gf won't do and that is why he keeps going back even though it is wrong.
