To me seems like theyr calling out god and is about apocolypse

its basically about the teenagers of today.the ones who don't take a stand for themselves and the ones who are afraid of being themselves.

I think it has something to do with the end of the world too.

I think it's referring to the people that are afraid of the end of the world, and live their life in fear of death. instead of living it to the fullest.

hence the whole "an origin set in fear"

and it basically says that in the end only those who lived their lives and stood strong in the world will be left.

and everyone else will be destroyed.

i dont think it has anything to do with teens, and i can see the end of the world being a metphor for what they're trying to say. personally i see a politcal meaning behind it. Basically saying being a democracy the people have the voice we're just not using it whether it be because we're either afraid or we are shut up before we can say anything.

harper83087, I definitely agree. I think too many people focus on the literal instead of delving deeper into meanings. Everyone should listen to songs full of symbolism. Alas, we have fallen to illiteracy.

yeah I see the whole political meaning and how it could relate to the song.

but at the same time I can see the whole religious and apocalyptic message that it could relate to.

considering that winds of plague have a lot of roots in black metal, It would make sense to me that it could have that meaning.

My favorite Winds of Plague song. I love what they do musically. Medolic Deathcore in standard tuning? Lol thats a smack in the face to every cliche' hardcore band that tuned to drop A just to sound "br00tal". Definitely something new. I'm not too big on their lyrics though. Their just not that interesting to me.
