Sweetest Girl (Feat. Akon, Lil' Wayne, Niia) Lyrics

Some live for the bill
Some kill for the bill
She wined for the bill
Grind for the bill
(and she used to be the sweetest girl)
Some steal for the bill, if they got to pay they bill
(and she used to be the sweetest girl)
Tonight Wyclef, Akon, Weezy on the bill

High School she was
That girl that make me do the hula hoop around the gym
(Just to get a peek again, she’s a 10)
High School she was
That girl that make me do the hula hoop around the gym
(Just to get a peek again, she’s a 10)
Never thought she would come and work for the president
Mr. George Washington (where my money at?)
She balls, he calls (where my money at?)
She had a good day, bad day, sunny day, rainy day
All she wanna know is (where my money at?)
Closed legs don’t get fed, go out there and make my bread
All you wanna know is (where my money at?)
She ended up in a wrong car, bruised up, scarred hard
All you wanna know is (where my money at?)
She balls, he calls (where my money at?)

See I’mma tell you like Wu told me
Cash Rules Everything Around Me
Singin’ dollar dollar bill yall (dollar, dollar bill yall)
Singin’ dollar dollar bill yall(dollar, dollar bill yall)

See I’mma tell you like Wu told me
Cash Rules Everything Around Me
Singin’ dollar dollar bill yall (dollar, dollar bill yall)
Singin’ dollar dollar bill yall (dollar, dollar bill yall)

Pimpin got harder, cause hoes got smarter
On the strip is something they don’t wanna be a part o’
Rather be up in the club shakin’ for a dub
Get triple times the money and spending it like they wanna
They got they mind on they money, money on they mind
They got they finger on the trigger, hand on the nine
See everyday they feel the struggle, but stayin’ on they grind
And ain't nobody take it from us, and that’s the bottom line
But I know, there’s a drop in the block
You move slow, you gettin’ pressure from cops
You don’t know, how not to lay low
Because 25 to life's no joke
To all my real guerrillas thuggin’
On top of corners everyday strugglin’
All the beautiful women's gettin’ money
Washin' them dollar bills like laundry

See I’mma tell you like Wu told me
Cash Rules Everything Around Me
Singin’ dollar dollar bill yall (dollar, dollar bill yall)
Singin’ dollar dollar bill yall (dollar, dollar bill yall)

See I’mma tell you like Wu told me
Cash Rules Everything Around Me
Singin’ dollar dollar bill yall (dollar, dollar bill yall)
Singin’ dollar dollar bill yall (dollar, dollar bill yall)

Money, money-money-money
Money, money-money-money

It Drives The World Crazy, we’re crazy

She used to be (she used to be the sweetest girl)

She used to be the sweetest girl ever (ever)
Now she like Sour Amaretto
She wears a dress to the T like the letter
And if you make it rain she will be under the weather
She used to run track back in high school
Now she tricks on the track right by school
She takes a loss 'cause she don’t wanna see her child lose
So respect her, or pay up for the time used
And then she runs to the pastor
And he tells her there will be a new chapter
But she feels no different after
And then she ask him… "Where my money at?"

See I’mma tell you like Wu told me
Cash Rules Everything Around Me
Singin’ dollar dollar bill yall (dollar, dollar bill yall)
Singin’ dollar dollar bill yall (dollar, dollar bill yall)

See I’mma tell you like Wu told me
Cash Rules Everything Around Me
Singin’ dollar dollar bill yall (dollar, dollar bill yall)
Singin’ dollar dollar bill yall (dollar, dollar bill yall)

Some live for the bill
Some kill for the bill (where my money at?)
She wined for the bill
Grind for the bill (where my money at?)
Some steal for the bill, if they got to pay they bill (where my money at?)
Tonight Wyclef, Akon, Weezy on the bill

I looove this song. :]]

So I'm guessing this song is about a guy who was in a relationship with a girl in high school and supposedly was "the sweetest girl". He sees her one day and sees the way shes living. And obviously she's a poor prostitute, asking her former customers "where my money at?" and whatnot.

i think the most poignant lines are 'And then she runs to the pastor And he tells her there will be a new chapter But she feels no different after And then she ask him… "Where my money at?"' shes like asking the pastor, someone who should show her peace and stuff 'where my money at' so shes like, become as materialistic as her pimp so not even gods message can make her see how wrong it is. it also shows how much shes changed since she was that girl in high school.

i agree with Cloud_dk that akons verse is about the pimp- hence why it says 'cause 25 to lifes no joke' and talks about pressure from cops and how the pimp doesnt know how to lay low

alsooooo 'sour amaretto' is the drink 'amaretto sour' SURPRISE SURPRISE which shows contrast between the line 'she used to be the sweetest girl ever' and now, not only is she an alcoholic but she drinks sour drinks because shes lost her sweetness in life.

ahhh late night rambles anywayyy, good song! i love it!

I never really gave this song a chance but after listening to it a few times, I really like it. It reminds me of Stripper Song by him and Can't Satisfy Her by I Wayne.

i also think it is about a girl who became a stripper (or dancer) in order to make just the dollar... or a salary.... no one ever thought she would be cuz in high school she was like a good looking girl and she seemed like she could go somewhere, but now she's "grinding for the bill"

i love this song... my boyfriend had told me about it and i had never heard it && he found it on the radio and lemme listen to it... its beautiful... sad if you think about it tho... cause you really dont think of how many girls prolly do like that... seem when they are young they will be great and make something wonderful of themselves but end up havin a hard life and having to do unthinkable things just to make a living... its a beautiful song tho!!!

well im completely confused, shes clearly a prostitue or dancer but whats the deal with the hula-hoops, and i assume shes a prostitue beacuse he says 25 years to life and dancing isnt illegal

Well, the way I understand it is that, a girl who was doing very well in high-school, running tracks, good looks etc, fell victim of money, either as a prostitute and/or a stripper. The one asking "where my money at" is, as far as i can tell, her pimp.. Akon's verse is clearly about the Pimp who also has a a hard time, seeing as all the girls want to be stripping in the clubs, as it pays a whole lot more, apparently.

As for the hula-hoops, i think that describes the persons attraction to her.

"That girl that make me do the hula hoop around the gym" - I think that speaks for itself, really :)

^^ I think it means the girl went from hoola hooping around the gym to stripping.

I'm pretty sure he means making "Hula-Hoops" (circles) around the gym, just to see her whether in PE or sports or whatever, "Just to get a peek again, she’s a 10."
