Chant Down Babylon Lyrics
Come we go burn down Babylon one more time
Come we go chant down babylon one more time
For them soft, yes them soft,
Them soft, yes them soft
So come we go chant down Babylon one more time
Men see their dreams and aspiration
crumble in front of their face
and all of their wicked intention
to destroy the human race
And how I know,
And how I know,
And that's how I know
A reggae music make we chant down Babylon,
With music make we chant down Babylon,
This music make we chant down Babylon,
This music make we chant down Babylon
Come we go chant down babylon one more time
Come we go chant down babylon one more time
For them soft, yes them soft,
Them soft, me say them soft
So come we go chant down Babylon one more time
Me say music you're. . . music, you're the key
Talk to who? Please talk to me,
bring the voice of. . . of the rastaman
Communicating to. . . (communi)cating to everyone
How I know, how I know, and that's how I know
A reggae music chant down Babylon
Chant Down Babylon!
Reggae music, chant down Babylon!
Come we go chant down babylon one more time
Them soft, yes them soft
crumble in front of their face
and all of their wicked intention
to destroy the human race
And how I know,
And that's how I know
With music make we chant down Babylon,
This music make we chant down Babylon,
This music make we chant down Babylon
Come we go chant down babylon one more time
Them soft, me say them soft
Talk to who? Please talk to me,
bring the voice of. . . of the rastaman
Communicating to. . . (communi)cating to everyone

Tis song has biblical meanings. Rasta along with some religions believe Babylon(roughly translated as Capitalism) will one day be brought down, and an all loving nation will rule for the rest of time. Bob is saying that music(something everyone can have) will unite all of mankind to destroy Babylon.
Babylon is not capitalism, exactly. Babylon is the nation that has historically "cast a stumbling block" in front of Jah's children. Babylon is referred to in the Old Testament, and continues today in many forms, metaphorically being a problem for Rastas. Most specifically, though, through the Roman adoption of Cristianity and mixing their native culture (which they got from Babylon), Babylon and the doctrine of Balaam is seen in the Roman Catholic Church.
The "system" is Babylon, but it is not as easy as saying "capitalism" is Babylon. (Though I&I don't like the doctrines that end in "ism", anyway. Ism and Schism, from "One Drop")

OH NO! I posted twice. Sorry guys! Lame!
babylon, as in the tower of babel; I suppose one could see it as a metephor for a system that builds it up so much it ends up collapsing in on itself. The money, power, and greed built it up and end up being its undoing.
