This song is amazing!! It is about two people who love eachother, but their lives are not going the same direction, one is moving away and one is staying.. and the distance is what tears them apat..but they still love eachother..they just can't make it work.. it's bittersweet
I don't think these are the correct lyrics. I think it's 'like weeds in a garden' not 'like we didn't guard it'. You can clearly hear the S. And also, it's not 'and I'm temporary' it's 'not temporary'. That one is incredibly clear. But anyway, this song is absolutely amazing. The first time I heard it I was just mesmerized, in a complete daze. It's so beautiful and perfect, yet so simple. I've been practicing it all day trying to get it down on the guitar, and I can't wait until I can play it without thinking :)
i agree with onomatopoeia, the lyrics are definitely "weeds in a garden" and they are DEFINITELY "love is permanent, not temporary"
so beautiful. love is such a strong connection and pulling it out is so painful, they will always have the memories of eachother and their time together, and will always feel it.
I think this song is talking about how he thought their love would last forever but it didn't and to him this isn't something that goes away. He's going to love her even if he's not with her cause "Love is permanent, not temporary." He can't help the way he feels.
