i'm in love with this song!! i think its about a breakup, the girl told him lots of lies and basically ruined the relationship, and the boy is sad how she lied when he loved her. and she makes it seem like if there relationship was nothing like it didnt mean anything to her.

my ex showed me this song. i didn't understand why until after i listened to the lyrics.

the guy is singing about his girlfriend lying to him. maybe he knew she was lying, but he didn't want to admit it? Bring in the past with the postcards you sent for me... Every line, It brings me right back down.
whenever he sees her or talks to her, he's reminded of every lie she told him.

the relationship is over, but he still can't believe that she betrayed him. maybe she cheated on him?
