This song serves as an anthem to the dedication and resilience of a close tight community of heavy metal fans and bands. It celebrates their enduring spirit and dedication to keep the genre alive, even when people tried to suppress it or other music pushed it back underground and not as mainstream. The community calls themselves a family since they can all relate to and appreciate the same sound; Bands also feel the same towards their fans and other musicians when other mainstream music hurts sales. The 90s hurt and even killed several bands from staying relevant and successful enough to continue. Some bands had to either adapt and change sound or push through and stay true to their sound. The hard years of the 90s and early 2000s helped create a deep bond between musicians and fans.
