Got no future plans
I've got dirty hands
I've had some bad relationships
And one night stands
But I know it's gonna make me a better man because of it
If there's a God,
Then he knows that I've commited sins
I've played the game
And I don't always win
But, nobody does
Nobody does

Fags, beer and herbal highs
Just an aid to enjoy my life
Gonna live now before I die
'cause we're a long time dead

Using all your time spent
Thinking 'bout what's been said
Looking over past love
Regretting little things you've done
Don't you know that life's worth
Living for the second, minute, hour
Loving everyday 'cause
That's all the time you've got
Don't you know that life's too short
And don't you know that life's worth
Living for the second, minute, hour

In my head there are land mines try'na explode
Atomic bombs that are ready to blow
It's hard to believe that nobody knows
This war I see
No peace talks, no police walk around
Try'na stop shots from knocking me down
The bullets make no sound
So no-one knows this war in me
In me, in me

Fags, beer and herbal highs
Just an aid to enjoy my life
Gonna live now before I die
'cause we're a long time dead

Using all your time spent
Thinking 'bout what's been said
Looking over past love
Regretting little things you've done
Don't you know that life's worth
Living for the second, minute, hour
Loving everyday 'cause
That's all the time you've got
Don't you know that life's too short
And don't you know that life's worth
Living for the second, minute, hour

Do I have to be part of this
Do I have to join in with this
Why should I conform to your reflection
Do I have to take all of this
Well I think it's worth the risk
I'll go the way that I know best
I'll go with my direction

The wisest thing ever said to me:
Life's too short to live a lie
I know, I know I don't know everything
But I know, I know I've got to try
I know I've got to try

Using all your time spent
Thinking 'bout what's been said
Looking over past love
Regretting little things you've done
Don't you know that life's worth
Living for the second, minute, hour
Loving everyday 'cause
That's all the time you've got
Don't you know that life's too short
And don't you know that life's worth
Living for the second, minute, hour

I recently fell in love with flamboyant bella. hah. They are actually rather.. dreamy. all there songs have a sort of make-believe quality about them. This song is about living for the moment and just taking chances. and doing things that may be frowned upon to have the most fun possible. and quite rightly so.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
