From A Daze

first off, this song is incredible. it seems that he's talking about just existing in life and it seems to be a rough time for him. and now he's just waiting for someone to pick him up because he knows this person can fix everything that's gone wrong. and for the record, i am so happy ace is still making music after the early november's breakup. so far there is nothing that he has made that i haven't liked.

i agree! i was so upset with TEN broke up and luckily i saw them on their last tour but i love Ace's solo stuff and now i'm excited to see what he can do!

This song is so beautiful. Here's my take on it:

I really thought that I was here And in that breath My lungs expand, my heart beats through my chest -He thought that everything was fine, and suddenly he realizes that it was fake, or not what he wanted. I see my world from a daze Learn to live with it, long enough to take it day by day -He feels removed from his life now. Accepts it, and gets through, but he isn't happy with it.

And all I know, Is that I'm ready here, Yeah, I'm waiting for you to take me from this place And make it all okay Because you're you -He's ready for things to change and life to improve, but he isn't able or willing to make the change himself. He needs a nudge, and he's waiting for "you", whether that's someone he's in love with or just a close friend, to help him take that step.

Now getting up, I hope we're here A seat has bruised my back, My neck is sore, my eyes can't focus Yet my wheel is turning to the field That's how it feels Knowing everything we've done Has just been fun while working out -He's starting to really live his life again and it's harder than he thought, but hopefully all will turn out well. Not really sure about this part.
