"...Because All Suffering Is Sweet to Me" Lyrics
You're not supposed to know of this
You're not supposed to feel a thing
But I've seen how they tear you apart
The alcohol, the cutlery
The words that cripple
And whispers that sting
Little boys and girls erase themselves
With tenderness, yeah, and ease
She stutters steps through dreams
And to relatives it seems
That history just hasn't happened yet
You're more than this to me
You're worth more than you can see
I don't care what the books said, girl
You didn't die in vain
I found you hanging on their words
From the noose you let them
Tie around your neck
It took thirteen years for you
But you count the rest of the aches and pains
And medicines mean nothing
If you can't feel your skin
Little boys and girls
It seems like hell
But worth more than you can take
She stutters steps through dreams
And to relatives it seems
That history just hasn't happened yet
You're more than this to me
You're worth more than you can see
I don't care what the books said, girl
You didn't die in vain
I know a girl who shares her name
With a guardian
She was a saint
She was a saint (x3)
They say she took her life today
But I don't believe a word they say
She stutters steps through dreams
And to relatives it seems
That history just hasn't happened yet
Cause I know a girl who shares her name
With a guardian
Don't be ashamed
She was a saint
You're not supposed to feel a thing
But I've seen how they tear you apart
The alcohol, the cutlery
The words that cripple
And whispers that sting
With tenderness, yeah, and ease
And to relatives it seems
That history just hasn't happened yet
You're more than this to me
You're worth more than you can see
I don't care what the books said, girl
You didn't die in vain
From the noose you let them
Tie around your neck
It took thirteen years for you
But you count the rest of the aches and pains
And medicines mean nothing
If you can't feel your skin
It seems like hell
But worth more than you can take
And to relatives it seems
That history just hasn't happened yet
You're more than this to me
You're worth more than you can see
I don't care what the books said, girl
You didn't die in vain
With a guardian
She was a saint
She was a saint (x3)
But I don't believe a word they say
And to relatives it seems
That history just hasn't happened yet
Cause I know a girl who shares her name
With a guardian
Don't be ashamed
She was a saint

somebody i knew in elementary school died, she hung herself, and i just found out today.
she was only thirteen and i know that she didn't deserve whatever led to her suicide.
being somebody who's attempted suicide so many times, i can really relate to this song and this song just relates to the situation so well.
I think this ones about a girl who killed herself and everyone is ashamed of her for doing so... And he's basically saying that she was a great person so there's no reason to be ashamed. Like... so what if she killed herself... appreciate her for who she was when she was alive.
I listened along with the song, and those are mostly right so Im filling in the blanks:
You're not supposed to know of this You're not supposed to feel a thing But I've seen how they tear you apart The alcohol recovery The words that cripple And whispers that sting
Little boys and girls raise themselves With tenderness, yeah, and age
She started steps through dreams And to relatives it seems That history just hasn't happened yet You're worth more than this to me You're worth more than you can see I don't care what the books had girl You didn't die in vain
I found you hanging on their words From the noose you let them Tie around your neck It took thirteen years from you But you kept the rest of the aches and pains And medicines mean nothing if you can't feel your skin
Little boys and girls it seems like helping you you're more than you can take
She started steps through dreams And to relatives it seems That history just hasn't happened yet You're worth more than this to me You're worth more than you can see I don't care what the books had girl You didn't die in vain
I know a girl who shares her name With a guardian She was a saint She was a saint (x3)
She started steps through dreams And to relatives it seems That history just hasn't happened yet Cause I know a girl who shares her name With a guardian Don't be a saint She was a saint
the only thing i hear differently in this song is
"I don't care what the book said girl" and "Little boys and girls it seems like helping you you're WORTH more than you can take"

a lot of their song are questioning god & here im pretty sure its saying how someone killed themselves & it shouldnt be considered a sin to kill yourself if the "loving god" didnt help you, so you shouldnt be punished for it.
she was 13 =[ when she died she wasnt worthless she didnt die in "vain"
does anyone know what the russian (i think) says at the end?
sorry wrong track :D
