Tiny Plastic Cup Lyrics
this is a TERRIFIC song!!! but unfortunately i have no idea what it means...
Ditto.
your lyrics are wrong
its "let the world never see, all the strange sides of me"
A dress up party at my house we'll all be someone else. instead of A dress up party at my house where I'll be someone else.
Drive fire engines through the desert in the rain. I'll search the shipwrecks in the ocean for the flame. instead of Drive fire engines through the desert and the rain. I'll search the shipwrecks in the ocean for a flame.

The introductory stanza kinda suggests on a metaphorical level that the author is trapped, confused and bewildered by society. He trys to find somewhere to hide and escape from all the challenges that he is somewhat unwilling to confront...
This song acts as a foil for his inner personality as suggested by the chorus. Society (or a special individual) also pressures him to conform to demands which may not necessary express his true beliefs. However he eventually succumbs to these demands and looks back with some sort of regrets?
The author is also critising society and its development into a dystopian nature and shown by the first two verses. One presents an emotional (priests) approach, while the other a more natural and literal (fire trucks) intrepretation. Society may be deluding themselves from issues at hand?
Futility and hopelessness...

Well, the whole "dress up party" and "let the world never see all the strange sides of me", i guess, relate. The dress up idea could mean that the author is hiding himself behind a disguise, so that the "world can't see" what he/she is "strange" or not...
also, i think the idea about drugs and alcohol concept is directed at those who use them as a disguise to hide who they really are and then using the term with hangover, could suggest some sort of relationship, that "you" and "i" will eventually be together?
I think it is about mental patients. Tiny Platic Cups are used for taking pills & medicines in hospitals. "Let the world never see all the strange sides of me". "It's so believable" - his illusion of life seems so real. He has all the bad side of life - "If you're drugs and alcohol, then I'll be the hangover" Confess my sins to clowns - the doctors "Dress up party at my house, we'll all be someone else" - they have lost their minds - they think they are other people "I found a mistake, in the way that we were made" - problems of the brain "We're so original" - they are unusual people - original
