I think this song's about the narrator and his friend who are having problems in their relationship. The narrator feels as if he's trying his hardest to get things back to normal, but his friend doesn't give a fuck. This is angering him and he realises his friend's been treating him like shit for a long time, but he still wants to sort it out and get back to normal.
